Meet Patrick Davis — Chief Executive Officer

Patrick Davis knows the Eastside from the ground up. As a local business owner — including the Papa Murphy’s at Bridle Trails, just minutes from the Foundation’s Kirkland headquarters — he spent years serving the same neighborhoods he now works to strengthen. Running a community business taught him something no boardroom could: real needs show up at street level, in the families, workers, and neighbors you see every day.

That experience grew into a career bridging finance and community. Today, Patrick also serves as Chief Financial Officer of TriStar Finance Inc. and Aris Real Estate, bringing deep expertise in lending, housing, and financial stewardship to everything the Foundation builds.

That combination led him to co-found Economic Foundation in 2020, a Washington State 501(c)(3) public charity built on a simple idea — that stability compounds. A household helped through a crisis can finish a training course; a trained worker can earn; an earner with financial skills can save.

Under his direction, the Foundation’s nine program funds span economic empowerment, health, and community stewardship — including a $65 million low-income housing development in Seattle, clean-water projects in Ethiopia through SIM, a down-payment grant program for first-time homebuyers with TriStar Finance, and disaster relief shipments to Venezuela.

His approach hasn’t changed since his storefront days: Listen, Act, Learn, Repeat.
